Eggwhite Cheese Muffins

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C.
  2. Mix the egg whites, cottage cheese, and feta until smooth.
  3. Cut the meat into small cubes. Grate the mozzarella and gruyere cheese separately.
  4. Fry the meat in butter until golden brown (if using ground beef, season generously with salt) and allow it to cool slightly.
  5. Use the meat juices and melted butter to grease the muffin molds.
  6. Add the grated mozzarella and about ¾ of the meat to the egg white mixture and stir them in well.
  7. Pour the mixture into the molds and make sure each muffin has an equal amount of cheese and meat.
  8. Sprinkle the grated gruyere and remaining meat on top.
  9. Bake them for 30 minutes, or until the cheese on top is golden brown.
  10. Allow the muffins to cool in the molds for 5 minutes at room temperature before removing.
