This Bechamel sauce is creamy, thick and delicious. It’s great to use for a Carnivore Lasagna or simply as a sauce to accompany meat.

Ingredients
- 30 grams of butter (about 2 tbsp)
- 85 grams of cream cheese (3 oz)
- 236 ml of heavy cream (one cup)
- Salt to taste
- Nutmeg to taste
Directions
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and cream cheese over medium heat while stirring or whisking constantly.
- Add the heavy cream and whisk until it starts to simmer.
- Remove from the heat and add salt and nutmeg.
- Let it cool off for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Ready to consume
Note:
- Sauce can be stored up to a week covered in the refrigerator. (let it cool to room temp first)
- If it becomes too thick, heat it up before using.
