Bacon Cheese Bites

  1. Cut the sausage and cheese into pieces of similar size.
  2. Put one piece of cheese on top of a piece of sausage and wrap both in bacon horizontally. Take another slice and wrap it horizontally again. With only a single layer of bacon the cheese tends to leak out while baking.
  3. Put the wrapped pieces onto a bacon sheet and bake them for approximately 15 minutes at 230° C. You can adjust the baking time according to how crispy you like the bacon. Try not to overbake them so the cheese doesn’t spill out.
  4. Consume warm or let them cool down and store in the fridge.
